Welcome to MajiApp, operated by Maji Co. Ltd. (“Maji,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using MajiApp on the web or mobile, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, placing an order, listing a service, or browsing the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and any policies referenced here, including our Privacy Policy.
2. Services
MajiApp connects buyers, vendors, service providers, and investors across Kenya for water refills, bowser delivery, exhaustor services, water-point discovery, workspace tools, and related products. We facilitate connections and payments; vendors and providers remain responsible for fulfilment and service quality.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration details, including a valid phone number for OTP verification. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your session secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Orders and payments
When you place an order, you agree to provide a correct delivery address and M-Pesa payment details. Prices are set by vendors and shown before checkout. M-Pesa prompts are sent to the number you provide; completing payment confirms your order. We are not liable for delays caused by network issues, incorrect details, or factors outside our control.
5. Providers and workspace users
If you sell water, operate an exhaustor, manage water points, or use MajiApp workspace features, you must comply with applicable Kenyan law, licensing requirements, and platform guidelines. Maji may review listings and suspend accounts that violate these terms or pose a risk to customers.
6. Intellectual property
MajiApp branding, software, and content are owned by Maji Co. Ltd. or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute platform materials without written permission.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maji and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including loss of profits or data.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
